Brendan has worked in the Television and movie industry for over 25 years. He started out in 80s pop videos using his comic book skills as a storyboard artist and concept designer for top directors like Steve Barron and Russell Mulcahy, and major performers like Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney. Brendan also worked with UK producers like Jim Henson, Working Title Films and Anthony Minghella on projects such as Thunderbirds, The Wind in the Willows, The Borrowers, The Storyteller, Tim Burton’s Sweeney Todd and Dan Dare.
Brendan relocated to Hollywood contributing to movies like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, SNL’s Coneheads, Pinocchio, Highlander 2 and Lost In Space. He production-designed the visuals for the cgi TV series ReBoot and created character designs for other animated shows like War Planets and Weird-Ohs.
Brendan was invited to Sydney by writer/director George Miller to co-write and design Mad Max Fury Road and later to write and design a brand new mo-cap computer animated feature.
More recently, Brendan has worked for Marvel and DC Entertainment in the US and is currently producing his own creator-owned properties.
